Since that tragic day, there has been a dearth of insignia that has been produced in regard to 9/11. From patches to pins, and from shirts to challenge coins, you can find anything that alleges to “Honor the Fallen Heroes”. While some items have been produced in good faith, with proceeds being raised for the families of those lost on that day, others have been made strictly for revenue generating purposes only and continue to be done till today.

My husband was working on 9/11, and throughout that day I wrestled with the fear that I might never see him again. I was one of the lucky ones. He came home on the morning of 9/12. However, some of the people he has worked with didn’t.

Huntzman Enterprises has only this to say about the subject. If any unit, directly involved with 9/11, is making insignia to generate proceeds to benefit the families who lost loved ones, I will do it at my cost. 

The same provision applies to any unit or agency that wishes to produce any Memorial insignia, whose proceeds will go solely to benefit the families of fallen officers.
