This
page is dedicated to the memory of Sgt. Eddie Miller, NYPD Ret., and to those
who regularly attended the PICA Long Island Police Insignia
Show in Mineola, New York that he started. The show ran in
Mineola until 1996 when it moved across the Hudson to Hasbrouck Heights,
New Jersey. This move was generated by legislation that seriously
impacted the collecting hobby.
One
day, while reading some old issues of Al Mendez's periodcial The
New York Society of Police Collectors I thought it might
be nice for old collectors to get back in touch with one another. I
decided to add this page to help facilitate this. If you know of anyone
who attended, please let me know or send them my email address.
